Observing Goliath to see what the devil looks like, and what he sounds like.

1 Samuel 17:1-11 – As Goliath approached the Israelite army led by Saul, they were dismayed and greatly afraid.

1 Peter 5:8 – the enemy walk about like a roaring lion, seeing whom he can harm

Genesis 3:1 – from the beginning, the devil tries to instill doubt

Get the proper perspective: Don’t fight in your own strength, for only God can save and deliver you!

Joshua 1:9 – the Lord is with you wherever you go

Acts 1:8 – He gave us the Holy Spirit as our power

The enemy tries to instill fear in us.  But remember what the Lord has done for you in the past.  If your memories are diminished, so will your ability to deal with the conflict of today.
