Proverbs 20:27

You are a Spirit, you have a soul, you live in a body. You don’t HAVE a spirit, you ARE a spirit.

God uses your spirit like a flashlight for you to light the way you should go.

As a follower of Jesus, you should be hearing His voice.

FIVE SAFEGUARDS TO KNOW IT IS GOD’S VOICE YOU ARE HEARING:

1. When God speaks it will often go against the reasons and rationalizations of the world.
2. What God speaks to you will line up with His Word. He never says things contradicting His Word.
3. Obeying what you hear from God requires faith.
4. Obeying what you hear from God requires courage.
5. When you obey what you hear from God there will be peace in your life.
