Hebrews 5:11-14

Hard words here as the writer urges us to go deeper into the things of God.  Too often we are “dull” of hearing–not listening, lazy, slow, or simply don’t care to listen.

Holy Spirit states in this passage that at this time we ought to be teachers, not seeking to be taught the basics of God, living on milk only.

Questions to ask after reading this passage in Hebrews:

Are you on milk or are you on solid food? –is there a passion in you that you want to know more about Jesus??

How do I “grow up”? — by studying the Word frequently and putting into practice what Holy Spirit has shown you,

Are you teaching others the Word? — are you sharing the revelations that Holy Spirit has given you?
