Hebrews 6:1 Time to move beyond the elementary teachings and move forward to maturity–Growing up in Christ

1 Corinthians 3:2 – Are you still not ready for solid food?? Haven’t you moved yet from the milk, the elementary things?

Hebrews 5:11-14 – Solid food is for the mature. You will mature simply by staying in the word and constantly using it–training yourself to grow up!

Hebrews 6:7-8 – A farmer cultivates his land by breaking up the soil and then planting. Likewise, we need to cultivate our minds by keeping in the word and in prayer

Isaiah 10:27 – The yoke will be broken because of the fat!!

Three things that lead to maturity:

1)Life of prayer

2)Read the Word

3)Attend a spirit filled church
