GOD’S PROVISION FOR YOU – Part 2

Last week we looked at 2 of the 4 ways you can receive God’s provision. The first way is by the hand of man. The second way is by the hand of God.

3. God’s provision by your own hand.

The third way you can receive God’s provision is by your own hand.

Joshua 5:12 – the manna ceased. All of a sudden there was no manna. Now what? You lost your job; health problems; no apparent “miracles” supplying your needs. Be assured, God hasn’t forgotten you, but He is going to reposition you to bless you again, but in a different way.

God knows what he is doing in your life, the circumstances you are facing. But He wants you to trust Him and honor Him and put Him first in your life. Now is the time to move forward and stop living off miracles.  A transition is about to take place!

Deuteronomy 11:9-10 “For the land which you go to possess is not like the land of Egypt from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and watered it by foot…”  In Egypt a garden was watered by a foot pump that would cause just enough water for the plants barely survive. But the land the Hebrews were going to was not a land of “barely enough” but a land flowing with milk and honey. God is taking you to a land where His provision flows continually, not sparingly. The goodness of the Lord is about to flow into your life like you never had before, from the beginning of this year to the end of this year.

When you have an “Egyptian” mentality you are always praying SOS prayers, going from crisis to crisis. But now God wants you to walk into the divine flow of His blessings. He wants you to live in the land flowing with milk and honey.  If you aren’t there yet, don’t be ashamed, it’s not a problem; that’s why you come to church to get words of faith and life. There is a better land coming in your future. God’s ultimate will for you is the blessings of the land that flow with ilk and honey. He will bless you no matter who you are.

So, the manna has ceased. This is going to require you to sow, to work in the field, requiring you to do something, requiring you to get involved. God is ready to bless your hand and your abilities, the things he has equipped you to do. You are going to being to flow in the gifts that God has given you.

You all have gifts, including different strategies and abilities. He is going to bless and involve you. He wants more from you than just praying emergency prayers. If you can do it, God isn’t going to do it for you. You need to grow up spiritually. You need to find your purpose in the Kingdom of God. God says that He will bless you by YOUR hand, and He will begin to move you from living in crisis after crisis.

You have skills and strengths that you are not aware of. You have things in you that you don’t even know. There are strengths and assets in you, and when you give Him your all, He will bless those skills and abilities He has given you. By your own hand you will begin to flow in the blessings of God.

GOD WILL PROVIDE FOR YOU IN 2024! This is going to be an incredible year. Exercise your gifts. God is going to bless the people in this year, He will bless this church this year.

4. God will provide for you by the hand of your enemies.

Joshua sent out 12 spies, 10 came back with a report of giants that were too big to overcome. Two came back with the report that God is able. Are you one of the 10 or one of the 2? Are the things you face too big or are they things God is able to take care of.

Numbers 14:9 The Lord is with us, fear them not! God will provide for you through your enemies. He said they are bread for you. What this means is that you will get to the place where you will feed on the attacks of the enemy. You will “feed” on them for these attacks will make you more steadfast and determined to do God’s will, rather than making you discouraged or upset.

The attacks from satan are a sign that you have become an H V T – a highly valued target. Don’t expect satan to stop or back down, you are now something worth attacking. But remember two things. First, you are more valuable to God in your assignment; and Second, the level of blessing you can expect when you get through the attack is more than anything you can imagine.

God will often use who you think is your enemy. It is possible that someone attacking you will turn around and bless you. Look for blessings from people you thought would never bless you.

2 Corinthians 9:10 12 – there are 3 things you can do with the seed God gives you:

• Eat it.
• Hold it in your hand.
• Sow it – this is the only way the seed can be multiplied.

When you give, God makes things happen. Not just spiritual blessings, but blessings in liberality, overt and above.

Take what is in your hand and release it to God. As you sow, He multiplies and provides for you, and also will take care of others and cause them to be blessed.

Psalm 66:12 We went through fire and through water; But You brought us out to rich fulfillment.

You can sit in your chair and say I’m waiting on you Lord. But know what He’s saying – He’s waiting on you!
